Mortgage Amounts

We offer a minimum mortgage amount of 50,000 euros up to a maximum amount of 80% of the property valuation price (but no more than 100% of the property purchase price).

Mortgage Terms

From 1 to 30 years,
to be repaid by the age of 75.

Variable interest rate linked to Euribor 6 months plus spread.
This is our most popular mortgage choice.

Fixed interest rate   plus spread, choice of 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years.

Early Redemption

The fee charged to clients for either full or part early redemption is 0.50% for variable interest rate and 2.00% for fixed interest rate mortgages of amount repaid.

Costs payable by customer (non-refundable)

- Appraisal fee: EUR 750.00 (payable on acceptance of mortgage offer);

- Valuation fee: EUR 200.00 (payable on valuation instruction).

Multi-Options

Multi-Options is a secondary or additional home loan secured against the property to finance other associated costs. For example to build your dream swimming pool.

Amount

We offer a minimum loan amount of EUR 10,000.

Term

From 5 years,
up to the end of the period of the existing mortgage on the same property.

Interest rate

Variable interest rate linked to Euribor 6 months plus spread.

Fixed interest rate plus spread, choice of 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years.

Principal and interest are paid monthly

Early redemption

Caixa Geral de Depósitos may, in the event of full or part repayment, charge clients the following fees:

  • Part repayment: 3% on the amount of the repayment of capital;
  • Full repayment: 3% on the outstanding balance of the loan at 31 December of the preceding year, or on the initial capital, if payment is made in the same year in which the agreement has been entered into.

Deposit Finance

We provide  loans to pay for the initial deposit required when buying off plan. You can also apply for a deposit finance loan if your mortgage has already been approved and you need help paying the first 25%.

The deposit finance loan is to be repaid once the final deed is signed and the property is purchased.

Amount

We offer up to 25% of the purchase or valuation (whichever the lesser).
A minimum amount of EUR 10,000.

Term

Up to 24 months.
